Abstract

Media dalam penerimaan kas yang saat ini sedang marak digunakan adalah media QRIS (Respon Cepat Standar Indonesia). Media tersebut mampu memberikan dampak efektifitas dan efisiensi yang positif dalam hal pembayaran transaksi. Hampir seluruh sektor telah menggunakan media tersebut, tidak terkecuali dalam sektor kuliner seperti kedai kopi. Namun meskipun media QRIS menawarkan hal kemudahan bagi para pengusaha kedai kopi dalam hal transaksi pembayaran, media QRIS harus tetap dikendalikan dengan cara menerapkan pengendalian internal pada toko, terkhusus pada tahap sistem penerimaan kas. Kemudahan yang diberikan oleh QRIS seharusnya memberikan dampak positif bagi kedai kopi untuk dapat mengendalikan toko-nya lebih baik. Pendekatan pada penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus yang dilakukan di salah satu kedai kopi yang terletak di Indonesia, yaitu Media Coffee. Beberapa tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) mengetahui perbedaan alur kerja metode pembayaran menggunakan media QRIS dan metode pembayaran yang lain di Media Coffee; (2) mengetahui pengendalian internal yang diterapkan di Media Coffee; dan (3) mengetahui media QRIS dalam siklus penjualan dalam meningkatkan efektifitas pengendalian internal di Media Coffee. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi dalam mengumpulkan data untuk diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) bagan alir metode pembayaran menggunakan media QRIS tidak berbeda secara signifikan dengan metode pembayaran lain; (2) komponen pengendalian Internal yang diterapkan di Media Coffee telah sesuai dengan lima komponen yang diidentifikasi oleh Komite Organisasi Sponsor Komisi Treadway (COSO); (3) Penggunaan media QRIS dalam pembayaran transaksi Media Coffee membantu meningkatkan pengendalian internal yang diterapkan pada toko-nya. Kata Kunci: QRIS, Pengendalian Internal, Penerimaan Kas. / The media for cash receipts that is currently widely used is QRIS (Quick Response Indonesia Standard). The media is able to have a high impact on effectiveness and efficiency in terms of payment transactions. Almost all sectors have used this media, including the culinary sector such as coffee shops. However, even though QRIS media offers convenience for coffeeshop entrepreneurs for payments, QRIS media must also be controlled by implementing internal controls at outlets, especially at the cash receipt stage. This research is a type of case study conducted at Media Coffee, one of the coffee shops in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to (1) find out the differences in the flowchart of payment methods using QRIS and other payment methods at Media Coffee; (2) knowing the internal controls implemented at Media Coffee; and (3) knowing the QRIS media in the sales cycle in increasing the effectiveness of internal control at Media Coffee. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using interview and observation techniques in collecting data for research. The results of the study show that (1) the flowchart of payment methods using QRIS media does not differ significantly from other payment methods; (2) the internal control components implemented in Media Coffee comply with the five components identified by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO); and (3) the use of QRIS media in paying for Media Coffee transactions help improve the internal control applied to its outlets.
