Abstract

Salah satu indikator keberhasilan menempuh pendidikan seorang mahasiswa kedokteran harus mempunyai nilai akademis yang baik. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengukuran dan melihat distribusi nilai rata-rata yang telah didapatkan mahasiswa Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia dari ujian teori dan pratikum mikrobiologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil nilai ujian teori dan praktikum mikrobiologi mahasiswa Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia angkatan 2018 sampai dengan 2020. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional dengan pendekatan retrospektif, dimana peneliti menganalisa hasil ujian teori dan praktikum mata kuliah mikrobiologi pada blok 4 semester kedua tahun pertama pendidikan mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia angkatan 2018, 2019, dan 2020 berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan tempat tinggal mahasiswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia Angkatan 2018, 2019, dan 2020 yang mengikuti ujian akhir blok dengan jumlah 432 mahasiswa. Peneliti mengunakan total sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan jenis kelamin, mahasiswa perempuan memperoleh nilai rata-rata teori lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan laki-laki, sedangkan pada nilai rata-rata praktikum mahasiswa pria memperoleh nilai yang lebih tinggi. Berdasarkan tempat tinggal, rata-rata mahasiswa yang tinggal di rumah sendiri mendapatkan nilai yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswa yang tinggal di indekos. Dilihat dari distribusinya, nilai rata-rata teori dan praktikum berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan tempat tinggal tidak terdistribusi normal. Kesimpulan tidak ada perbedaan signifikan jenis kelamin dan tempat tinggal pada nilai teori dan praktikum mikrobiologi, tetapi mahasiswa perempuan memiliki nilai rata-rata yang lebih tinggi dari laki-laki pada setiap angkatan. Kata kunci: Ujian teori, ujian praktikum, mikrobiologi, jenis kelamin, tempat tinggal. / One of the indicators of successful education for a medical student must have good academic performances. This study will measure the average score and look at the distribution of the average scores that obtained by medical students at the Christian University of Indonesia from theoretical exams and practicum of microbiology. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of the theoretical and practicum test scores for microbiology medical students at the Christian University class of 2018 to 2020. This type of research used a cross-sectional with a retrospective approach, where the researcher analyzed the results of the theory and practicum exams for microbiology courses in block 4 of the second semester of the first year of education for students from the 2018, 2019, and 2020 class of the Faculty of Medicine at the Christian University of Indonesia based on gender and place of residence of student. The population in this study were active students from 2018, 2019, and 2020 class of the Faculty of Medicine, Christian University of Indonesia who took blok final exams with a total of 432 students. Researchers used total sampling as a sampling technique in this study that met the inclusion criteria. Research result based on gender, female students have a higher mean score than male in theoretical score, whereas in the practicum mean score, male students have a higher score. Based on the place of residence, students which live in their own house have higher score than students who live in boarding house. Based on distribution, the theory and practicum mean score based on gender and place of residence is not normally distributed. In conclusion, there was no significant between gender and place of residence difference in the theoretical and practicum scores of microbiology, but female students have higher mean score than male students in all class.
