Abstract

Gizi merupakan aspek yang berpengaruh terhadap kualitas sumber daya manusia karena berkaitan dengan kesehatan, keterampilan, perkembangan kecerdasan, dan pertumbuhan anak dan remaja. Riset Kesehatan Dasar tahun 2018 menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 8,1% remaja usia 16-18 tahun dalam status gizi kurus dan sangat kurus. Gizi yang kurang pada masa remaja akan berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas penurunan prestasi di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui hubungan status gizi dengan prestasi akademik SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode penelitian analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan pada bulan November – Desember 2022. Berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dn ekslusi, dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, didapatkan sampel sejumlah 111 subyek. Penentuan status gizi dilakukan dengan memplot hasil penggukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan pada Kurva CDC 2000 dan prestasi akademik dilihat dari hasil ujian mata pelajaran Fisika, Sejarah dan PPKn. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan chi-square dan SPSS versi 26 untuk melihat hubungan antara status gizi dengan prestasi akademik. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta,81,1% memiliki ststus gizi baik dan hanya 8,9% yang memiliki status gizi kurang. Hasil uji chi-square antara status gizi dengan pelajaran Fisika p=0,044, OR=2,676, CI 95%=1,006 – 7,120), pelajaran Sejarah p=0,000, OR 10,514, CI 95%=3,442 – 32,118) dan pelajaran PPKn p=0,000, OR=6,072, CI 95%=2,199 – 16,770). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan prestasi akademik di SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta. Kata Kunci: Status gizi, prestasi akademik. / Nutrition is an aspect that influences the quality of human resources because it relates to health, skills, intelligence development, and the growth of children and adolescents. The 2018 Basic Health Research shows that around 8.1% of adolescents aged 16-18 years are underweight and very underweight. Malnourishment during adolescence will affect the activity of decreased achievement at school. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nutritional status and academic achievement at SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta. This study used an observational analytic research method with a cross sectional approach which was conducted in November - December 2022. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, using a purposive sampling technique, a sample of 111 subjects was obtained. Determination of nutritional status is done by plotting the results of measurements of weight and height on the 2000 CDC Curve and academic achievement seen from the results of exams in Physics, History and PPKn. Data analysis was performed using chi-square and SPSS version 26 to see the relationship between nutritional status and academic achievement. This study shows that students of SMA Negeri 42 Jakarta, 81.1% have good nutritional status and only 8.9% have poor nutritional status.
