Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jawaban atas pertanyaan apakah ada hubungan antara pemberian bimbingan karier dengan pengembangan potensi diri peserta didik di SMA Cahaya Sakti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan modifikasi model Likert yakni suatu skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur pemberian mengenai bimbingan karier tentang fenomena potensi diri. Metode yang digunakan dalam peneliian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, sedangkan penarikannya dengan random sampling atau pengambilan anggota sampel dari populasi dilakukan secara acak tanpa memperhatikan strata yang ada dalam populasi itu. Adapun hasil uji hipotesis meliputi korelasi sebesar 0.647. Hasil untuk regresi penelitian sebesar 0.647 artinya kuat. Sedangkan uji regresi sebesar 0.647 atau 647% sedangkan determinasi variannya sebesar 0.419 atau 419%. Hasil untuk uji signifikan penelitian ini hasilnya sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 sehingga dinyatakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya bahwa keterhubungan antara pemberian bimbingan karier dengan pengembangan potensi diri peserta didik bersifat sangat signifikan. Sedangkan data analisis untuk garis regresi linear yaitu Ŷ = 12. 349 + 1.052 X, artinya apabila pemberian bimbingan karier ditingkatkan, maka pengembangan potensi diri juga akan meningkat atau bertumbuh. Kata kunci : Bimbingan Karier, Pengembangan Potensi Diri, Peserta didik This study aims to get answers to the question of whether there is a relationship between providing career guidance with the development of students’ self potential in Cahaya Sakti High School. This research uses quantitative research methods by using a Likert model modification which is a scale used to measure the provision of career guidance about self-potential phenomen. The method used in this research is quantitative method, while he withdrawal by random sampling method or taking sample members from the population is done randomly without regard to level that population. The results of the hypotesis test include a correlation of 0,647. The results for the research regression are 0.647which mean strong. While the regression test was 0.674 or 647% while the determination of the variance was 0.419 or 419%. The results for the significant test of this study were 0.000 < 0.05 so that it was stated that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It means that the relationship between providing career guidance and developing stundents’ self-potential is very significant. While the analysis data for the linear regression line is Ŷ = 12. 349 + 1.052 X, meaning that if the provision of career guidance is improved, than the development of self potential will also increase or grow.
