Abstract

COVID-19 adalah penyakit infeksi saluran pernapasan disebabkan oleh beta Coronavirus yang pertama kali ditemukan di Wuhan-China pada desember 2019. Peningkatan jumlah kasus dan penyebaran COVID-19 berlangsung dengan cepat sehingga diperlukan tindakan pencegahan. Mahasiswa kedokteran yang merupakan calon tenaga kesehatan, sudah menjadi keharusan untuk mengikuti trend isu kesehatan termasuk pencegahan COVID-19. Ada 3 faktor utama yang diperlukan dalam pencegahan COVID-19 yaitu pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku. Pengetahuan merupakan hasil mencari tahu, ini terjadi setelah seseorang melakukan penginderaan terhadap suatu objek. Faktor kedua adalah sikap yang menggambarkan apakah seseorang menyukai atau tidak menyukai suatu objek dan faktor terakhir perilaku, yang merupakan respon terhadap rangsangan yang bersifat aktif dan dapat diamati. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku pencegahan COVID-19 pada mahasiswa Kedokteran di Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan sampel 125 responden. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah kuesioner, dan didapatkan sebagian besar responden mempunyai pengetahuan baik (79,2%), sikap baik (91,2%), dan perilaku baik (94,4%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia terhadap pencegahan COVID-19 tergolong baik. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Sikap, Perilaku, COVID-19./ COVID-19 is a respiratory tract infection disease caused by the beta Coronavirus which was first discovered in Wuhan-China in December 2019. The increase in the number of cases and the spread of COVID-19 took place rapidly so preventive measures were needed. Medical students who are prospective health workers, it is imperative to follow the trend of health issues, including the prevention of COVID-19. There are 3 main factors needed in preventing COVID-19, namely knowledge, attitudes and behavior. Knowledge is the result of finding out, this occurs after someone has sensed an object. The second factor is the attitude that describes whether a person likes or dislikes an object and the last factor is behavior, which is a response to stimuli that are active and can be observed. The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of preventing COVID-19 in medical students at the Universitas Kristen Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive method with a sample of 125 respondents. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire, and it was found that most of the respondents had good knowledge (79.2%), good attitude (91.2%), and good behavior (94.4%). Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of the students of the Faculty of Medicine at the Universitas Kristen Indonesia towards the prevention of COVID-19 were classified as good.
