Abstract

This paper examines the entrepreneurial competence among school principals in Indonesia. The purpose of this study to analyze the indicators of entrepreneurial competencies in improving the quality and competitiveness of graduates in the ASEAN Economic Community. The research method to study the principal policy competence development and competitive ASEAN economic community. Studies show that innovation becomes a major part of the entrepreneurial competencies for school principals. Innovation can be developed with the support of the principal personalities, government policies and local governments, communities and stakeholders including business and industry environment. Fostering entrepreneurial competencies are focused on the development of innovation since the planning, implementation, evaluation and follow up measures.
