Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara kinerja guru, beban kerja guru dan prestasi belajar siswa di SMP dan SMA Victory Plus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survei dengan pendekatan korelasional (Correlational Research). Populasi penelitian adalah guru SMP dan SMA Victory Plus yang berjumlah 40 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuisioner yang terdiri dari 35 butir pernyataan untuk variabel kinerja guru, 28 butir pernyataan untuk variabel beban kerja guru dan 28 butir pernyataan untuk variabel prestasi belajar siswa. Butir – butir pernyataan tersebut memenuhi persyaratan validitas dan reliabilitas. Data penelitian ini berdistribusi normal dan hubungan antara variabel – variabelnya bersifat linear. Pengujian hipotesis adalah nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,369 dan nilai thitung (2,448) > ttabel (2,024) untuk variabel kinerja guru dan prestasi belajar siswa, nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0,516 dan nilai thitung (3,709) > ttabel (2,024) untuk variabel beban kerja guru dan prestasi belajar siswa sedangkan untuk variabel kinerja guru dan beban kerja guru secara bersama – sama dengan prestasi belajar siswa memiliki nilai koefisien korelasi Ganda (R) sebesar 0,540 dan nilai Fhitung (7,631) > Ftabel (3,25). Hasil penelitian adalah 1) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan tingkat hubungan rendah antara kinerja guru dan prestasi belajar siswa. 2) terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan tingkat hubungan sedang antara beban kerja guru dengan dan prestasi belajar siswa. 3) tidak terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kinerja guru dan beban kerja guru secara bersama – sama dengan prestasi belajar siswa karena pada pengujian hipotesis 3 ditemukan bahwa salah satu variabel tidak berpengaruh yaitu variabel kinerja guru karena memiliki nilai probabilitas (sig.) sebesar 0,249 atau lebih besar dari taraf signifikan 0,05. Kesimpulannya adalah prestasi belajar siswa akan meningkat bila ada peningkatan pada 1) kinerja guru, 2) beban kerja guru, 3) memaksimalkan beban kerja guru. Kata Kunci : Beban kerja guru, kinerja guru dan prestasi belajar siswa. / The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a correlation between teachers’ performance and teachers’ workload with the students’ achievement. The writer used a survey research method with approachment correlation method. The population is 40 teachers and 20 teachers are taken as the research samples. The data was gathered using questionnaries with Likert scale, consisted of 35 items for teachers’ performance variable, 28 items for teachers’ workload variable and 28 items for students’ achievement. The statements for each variable have met the requirements of validity dan reliability test. The distribution of data is normal and the relationship between variables are liniear. The hypothesis result of this research conclude that the value of correlation coefficient equal to 0,369 and the value of tcalculation (2,448) > ttable (2,024) for variable teachers’ performance and students’ achievement, the value of correlation coefficient equal to 0,516 and the value of tcalculation (3,709) > ttable (2,024) for variable teachers’ workload. Meanwhile for teachers’ performance and teachers’ workload together with students’ achievement have the value of double correlation coefficient equal to 0,540 and the value of Fcalculation (7,631) > Ftable (3,25). The result of this research are 1) there is a positive and significant with below relationship between teachers’ performance and students’ achievement. 2) there is a positive and significant with moderate relationship betwen teachers’ workload and students’ achievement. 3) There is no positive and significant correlation between teacher performance and teacher work load together with student achievement because in the testing of hypothesis 3 found that one of the variable has no effect is teacher performance variable because it has probability value (sig.) Equal to 0,249 or more large from a significant level of 0.05. The conclusion of this research is that students’ achievement will increase if 1) teachers’ performance increase, 2) teachers’s workload increas, 3) Maximizing teacher workload.
