Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan disiplin siswa di SMA Sawasta Kampus Telukdalam, Nias Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Kualitatif Deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pengamatan terlibat, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan kepada Kepala Sekolah, guru dan siswa. Adapun pengolahan datanya ditempuh dengan langkah telaah data, kategorisasi data, penafsiran data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa budaya sekolah mendukung peningkatan disiplin siswa. Kompetensi guru mendukung peningkatan disiplin siswa. Fasilitas sekolah sangat mendukung peningkatan disiplin siswa. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah mendukung peningkatan disiplin siswa.Kesimpulkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan disipilin siswa, budaya sekolah, kompetensi guru dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah harus didukung oleh fasilitas sekolah yang memadai. Kata kunci: Peningkatan, Disiplin siswa. / The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of student discipline in SMA Sawasta Telukdalam Campus, South Nias. The research method used is Qualitative Descriptive method. Techniques of data collection using observation involved, in-depth interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted to the Principal, teachers and students. The data processing is taken by data analysis step, data categorization, data interpretation, and conclusion The results obtained that the school culture supports the improvement of student discipline. Teacher competence supports the improvement of student discipline. School facilities strongly support the improvement of student discipline. The leadership of the principal supports the improvement of student discipline. Concluded that to improve students' discipline, school culture, teacher competence and principal leadership should be supported by adequate school facilities.
