Abstract
Secara historis teologis sebenarnya konsep pendidikan dalam Alkitab mengakar pada kitab Ulangan 6:4-9 di mana Tuhan bertindak sebagai inisiator dan motivator utama dalam pendidikan tersebut. Sebab makna pendidikan yang berasal dari kata dasar Ibrani musar dalam Perjanjian Lama ialah: penyucian, hukuman atau disiplin, koreksi atau perbaikan, perintah, serta penguasaan diri. Sedangkan menurut Perjanjian Baru dari kata Yunani paraklesis ialah tindakan memanggil seseorang kearah tertentu atau untuk membantu, menasehati, memberikan semangat kepadanya agar hidup bijaksana, melalui teguran, nasehat, peringatan dan motivasi. Seluruh konsep pendidikan haruslah bertujuan untuk mengasihi Tuhan dengan segenap hati, segenap jiwa, dan segenap kekuatan. Selain itu dalam konsep pendidikan Kristen yang berpusat pada kitab Ulangan 6:4-9 tersebut keluarga adalah lembaga pertama yang menjadi pusat dari dinamika pendidikan tersebut. Dengan demikian keluarga Kristen sesungguhnya merupakan representatif dari figur Allah untuk dapat mengurus dunia ini bagi kemuliaan-Nya (Kej.1:26). Bahkan keberhasilan Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam sekolahsekolah Kristen khususnya SLTA (usia remaja yang sangat labil) sangat membutuhkan peran setiap guru yang bertindak tidak hanya sebagai guru, tetapi sekaligus sebagai representatif figur orang tua. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dalam disertasi ini ditemukan di banyak sekolah Kristen khususnya SLTA PSKD di Jabodetabek yang belum memiliki konsep pendidikan berdasarkan kitab Ulangan 6:4-9. Sehingga dalam pengamatan peneliti hal tersebutlah yang menjadi penyebab utama bagi kegagalan Pendidikan Agama Kristen SLTA di Jabodetabek. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah kualitatif deskriptif fenomenologis sehingga menghasilkan konsep Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang berdampak optimal bagi pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Kristen di sekolah-sekolah lanjutan atas di Jabodetabek. Kata kunci: Konsep, Pendidikan, Perspektif, Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK), Kitab Ulangan, Sekolah Lanjutan Atas, PSKD. / Theological historically education concept in the Bible rooted in Deuteronomy 6:4-9 where God acts as prime initiator and motivator in that education. Due to the meaning of education is derived from the Hebrew word musar, in which in the Old Testament is: cleansing, punishment or discipline, correction or improvement, command, and also self control. Meanwhile according to the New Testament the meaning of education comes which means from the Greek word paraklesis which means: an act of calling someone to a particular direction or to help, advice, give encouragement to be prudent through critique, advice, warning and support. All education concepts must be intended to love God wholeheartedly, with all soul and strength. Christian educational concept that based on Deuteronomy 6:4-9 views family as a primary institution that becomes the center of the dynamic of education. Hence, family actually is a representative of God's family to manage this world for His Glory (Gen. 1:26). The success rate of Christian Education in every school (especially high school, which all students are teen with unstable personality) is determined by the teachers role who is not only act as teacher but also as parent or family representative. Based on the research within this dissertation, it is found that most in Christian schools, especially high school in Jakarta have no educational concept based on Deuteronomy 6:4-9. Therefore in researcher observations this become the main reason why Christian education has failed in Jabodetabek. The method in this research is qualitative descriptive phenomenology approach in producing Christian Education concept that can optimally impacted to the development of Christian educations in Jabodetabek high schools.
