Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas dan Uap Muara Tawar (PLTGU Muara Tawar) merupakan salah satu unit pembangkit di Indonesia. Untuk menjaga kesiapan dan performance pada PLTGU, peralatan yang ada dalam unit harus dijaga secara optimal, salah satunya adalah condenser. Salah satu metode untuk menjaga performance condenser adalah dengan cleaning menggunakan ball taprogge. Ball Tapprogge system merupakan suatu sistem pembersihan untuk pipa-pipa didalam condenser. Sistem ini menggunakan bola-bola karet atau yang biasa disebut dengan Sponge ball sebagai media pembersihnya. Cara pengoperasian Ball Taprogge System adalah dengan cara mensirkulasikan Ball Taprogge tersebut bersama air pendingin. Ball Taprogge dimasukkan ke collector dengan posisi tingkap tertutup, jalankan pompa sirkulasi (Taprogge Pump), kemudian buka tingkap pada collector dan bola-bola Taprogge akan mengalir bersama air kesisi inlet condenser. Selanjutnya masuk ke pipa pendingin dan akhirnya keluar sambil membawa kotorankotoran yang ada di dalam pipa condenser. ketika sampai outlet bola-bola Taprogge akan tertahan pada cacther dan diarahkan kembali ke collector. Sirkulasi ini dilakukan sampai selang waktu tertentu sesuai instruksi buku manual. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan membuktikan bahwa cleaning condenser dengan metode ball taprogge cukup berperan dalam peningkatan effisiensi condenser dan biaya cleaning condenser lebih kecil bila dibandingkan dengan daya yang dihasilkan dari kenaikan daya itu sendiri. Setelah dilakukan cleaning condenser dengan perhitungan metode 14 hari, 7 hari, 5 hari dan 1 hari maka dengan metode 14 hari ternyata memberikan keuntungan yang lebih karena dapat menekan biaya kerugian akibat hilang/turunnya nilai daya (MW). Kata kunci: Fouling, efisiensi condenser, Ball Taprogge. / Muara Tawar Power Plant with Gas and Steam (PLTGU Muara Tawar) is one of the generating units in Indonesia. To maintain the readiness and performance of the power plant, the existing equipment in the unit must be maintained optimally, one of which is a condenser. One method is to keep the condenser performance by cleaning using taprogge ball. Ball Tapprogge system is a cleaning system for pipes in the condenser. The system uses rubber balls or commonly referred to as a medium Sponge ball cleaner. Ball Operating System Taprogge way is to circulate the Taprogge Ball joint cooling water. Ball Taprogge inserted into the collector with the hatch closed position, run the circulation pump (Taprogge Pump), then open aperture at collector and balls Taprogge kesisi will flow along the water condenser inlet. Next go to the coolant pipe and finally came out, carrying the dirt in the condenser pipe. when it comes to outlet Taprogge balls will be retained on cacther and directed back to the collector. Circulation is done until a certain time interval corresponding instruction manuals book. From the research that has been done to prove that the condenser with a dry ball method taprogge enough role in increasing the efficiency of the condenser and condenser cleaning costs are smaller when compared to the power generated from the increase in power itself. After cleaning the condenser to the calculation method of 14 days, 7 days,5 days and 1 day, 14 days in which the method turns to higher profits because it can reduce the cost of losses due to lost / falling value of power (MW).Keywords: Fouling, efficiency condenser, Ball Taprogge.
