Abstract

Umbi Sarang Semut(Mymecodia Pendans) asal Wamena Papuamerupakan tumbuhan herbal yang banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat Wamena untuk pengobatan berbagai macam penyakit, bahkan sudah banyak bentuk simplisia dan obat-obat kemasan yang beredar di masyarakat Wamena Papua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai toksisitas umbi sarang semut Wamena Papua dengan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) dan analisis fitokimia ekstrak umbi sarang semut asal Wamena Papua.Hewan coba yang digunakan adalah Artemia salina Leach yang berusia 42 jam. Umbi sarang semut yang di gunakan untuk uji toksisitas adalah berupa ekstrak,seduhan dan obat kapsul (X) yang beredar di masyarakat.Seduhan umbi sarang semut di buat masing-masing dengan konsentrasi 1000 ppm.500 ppm.250ppm,100ppm dan 50 ppm. Dari hasil penelitian yang di peroleh bahwa umbi sarang semut dalam berbagai konsentrasi menyebabkan kematian larva udang Artemia Salina Leach. Penentuan Lethal Concentration50 (LC50) dilakukan dengan analisis probit. Nilai LC50.ekstrak, seduhan dan obat kapsul umbi sarang semut masing-masingsebesar 172ppm,174ppm dan 261ppm. Analisis fitokimia terhadap ektrak umbi sarang semut menunjukan hasil positif terhadap senyawa glukosida, flavanoit dan tanin. Kata kunci : Analisi fitokimia, toksisitas,umbi sarang semut (Mymecodia Pendans) asal Wamena Papua. / Bulbs Ants Nest (Mymecodia Pendans) from Papua Wamena is a herbal plant that is widely used by people Wamena for the treatment of various diseases, and even many forms of crude drugs and packaging drugs circulating in the community Wamena Papua. This study aims to determine the toxicity values bulbs Wamena Papua anthill with methods Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) and phytochemical analysis tuber extract ant nest Papua Wamena origin. Animals used were Artemia salina Leach aged 42 hours. Tuber nest of ants used for toxicity tests are in the form of extracts, steeping and drug capsules (X) circulating in the community. Steeping bulbs ant nests are made each with a concentration of 1000 ppm.500 ppm.250ppm, 100 ppm and 50 ppm. The research results are obtained that the bulbs anthill in various concentrations cause death larval shrimp Artemia Salina Leach. Determining Lethal Concentration 50 (LC50) was analyzed with probit. Value LC50.ekstrak, steeping and medicine capsule bulbs anthill respectively 172ppm, 174ppm and 261ppm. Phytochemical analysis to extract the bulbs anthill showed positive results against glucoside compound, flavanoit and tannins.
