Abstract

Demam berdarah atau demam berdarah dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeksi virus Dengue. melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus, yang hidup di wilayah tropis dan subtropis. Diperkirakan terdapat setidaknya 50 juta kasus demam berdarah di seluruh dunia tiap tahunnya. Berdasarkan hasil Riset Kemenkes RI pada tahun 2013 (41,3%), tahun 2014 (39,8%), dan tahun 2015(49,5%). Tujuan karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah untuk memahami dan memperoleh pengalaman nyata dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada anak demam berdarah dengue dengan kekurangan volume cairan di RSU UKI Jakarta dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus dan pendekatan proses keperawatan yaitu kekurangan volume cairan teratasi, dengan cara Berikan cairan oral jika pasien mau, Pantau asupan dan pengeluaran catat hasilnya, pemeriksaan Hb, leukosit, Ht, trombosit, memberikan edukasi kesehatan tentang penyebab dan pencegahan demam berdarah dengue. Tindakan yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kekurangan volume cairan dengan pemberian cairan per oral dan parenteral. Mencegah, terjadi perdarahan dan kematian.
