The results of the study found that the US used investment instruments and financial assistance, while China applied funds, investment, and dumping instruments to achieve political, social, economic, and cultural interests in intervening the development of a startup-based digital economy in Nigeria. Power competition demonstrates the US-dominated distribution of power while increasing investment to dampen China's presence. Meanwhile, China, which is in a non-dominant position, reacts by investing in digital infrastructure development to offset US dominance. This has an impact on political openness, economic progress, market expansion, development of the education system, improvement of human resources, and job creation.
