Abstract

Penelitian kearifan lokal Karungut ini merupakan upaya untuk mempertahankan, menggali potensi yang dimiliki setiap orang, mengembangkan dan menggali nilainilai luhur budaya Karungut agar diketahui, dan dipahami oleh seluruh masyarakat Dayak Ngaju khususnya generasi muda sebagai penerus generasi suku Dayak Ngaju. karungtu adalag representasi filosofi hidup Dayak Ngaju dimana terkandung nilai-nilai luhur nenek moyang orang Dayak, Kalimantan Tengah. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan prosedur penelitian untuk menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang dan perilaku yang dapat diamati. Penelitian kualitatif juga beararti penelitian yang memanfaatkan wawancara terbuka dalam memahami sikap, pandangan, perasaan dan perilaku individu atau kelompok orang. Nilai-nilai filosofi Karungut dan semua unsur Karungut dapat digunakan sebagai media belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen, dan Karungut versi rohani dengan iringan alat musik Karungut akan menjadikan Karungut lebih unik dan hidup sehingga akan membuat jemaat lebih tertarik untuk beribadah di gereja. Keyword: Kearifan lokal, Karungut, Pendidikan Agama Kristen. / This Karungut local wisdom research is an effort to maintain, explore everyone’s potential, develop and explore the noble values of Karungut culture to be acknowledged and understood by all Ngaju Dayak people, especially the younger generation as the next generation of the Ngaju Dayak tribe. Karungut is a representation of the Ngaju Dayak life philosophy containing the noble values of the ancestors of the Dayak people, Central Kalimantan. In this research, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach, namely research that uses procedures to produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. Qualitative research also means research that uses open interviews to understand attitudes, views, feelings, and behavior of individuals or groups of people. Karungut's philosophical values and all of their elements can be used as learning media for Christian Religious Education. In addition, the spiritual version of Karungut with the accompaniment of the Karungut musical instrument makes it more unique and livelier. It will also make the congregation more interested in worshiping at church.
