Abstract

Indonesia memiliki beragam budaya dan sumber daya alam, yang menjadikannya sebagai identitas bangsa Indonesia. Dalam pemanfaatannya Indonesia mengkaji konsep diplomasi budaya, dinamakan Rumah Budaya Indonesia yang difungsikan sebagai ruang publik untuk menciptakan citra positif, apresiasi dan membangun hubungan "budaya" dengan masyarakat asing untuk Indonesia. Jerman merupakan salah satu tujuan diplomasi budaya, karena Jerman dinilai berpotensi baik dalam hal ini. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana pengaruh diplomasi Rumah Budaya Indonesia terhadap hubungan diplomasi Indonesia-Jerman tahun 2017-2019. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dan analisis dengan menggunakan teori diplomasi publik dan konsep diplomasi kebudayaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Rumah Budaya Indonesia di Jerman berhasil membangun citra positif terhadap Indonesia, dapat dilihat melalui antusias masyarakat Jerman dalam mengikuti setiap acara yang diselenggarakan Rumah Budaya Indonesia, melalui diplomasi budaya ini akan tercipta areaarea kerjasama kemitraan strategis seperti politik, ekonomi, dan sosial budaya yang nantinya meningkatkan hubungan bilateral kedua negara./ Indonesia has a variety of cultures and natural resources, which make it the identity of the Indonesian nation. In its use, Indonesia examines the concept of cultural diplomacy, called the Indonesian Cultural House, which functions as a public space to create a positive image, appreciate and build "cultural" relations with foreign communities for Indonesia. Germany is one of the destinations of cultural diplomacy, because Germany is considered to have good potential in this regard. This study examines how the influence of Indonesia's cultural house diplomacy on Indonesia-Germany diplomatic relations in 2017-2019. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and analysis using the theory of public diplomacy and the concept of cultural diplomacy. The results of this study indicate that the Indonesian cultural house in Germany has succeeded in building a positive image of Indonesia, it can be seen through the enthusiasm of the German people in participating in every event held by the Indonesian cultural house, and socio-cultural which will improve bilateral relations between the two countries.
