Abstract

Hotnida Sitompul. Model Pendidikan Agama Kristen Bagi Penyandang Spektrum Autis di Jakarta Timur (studi Kasus di Sekolah Luar Biasa Suryawiyata Jakarta). Tesis. Program Magister Pendidikan Agama Kristen (P.PdK) program pasca sarjana Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta, 2016 Tesis ini membahas tentang model pembelajaran pendidikan agama Kristen bagi anak spektrum autis di SLB Suryawiyata Jakarta. Kajiannya dilatarbelakangi oleh keadaan psikis anak autis yang berbeda dengan anak normal pada umumnya. Studi ini di maksudkan untuk menjawab permasalahan : model pembelajaran PAK bagi anak penyandang autis di SLB Suryawiyata di Jakarta Timur. Datanya diperoleh dengan cara wawancara terstruktur, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Semua data dianalisa dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa : model pembelajaran PAK bagi anak autis di SLB Suryawiyata Jakarta pada pembelajaran di kelas meliputi pendekatan, strategi, metode, teknik, media. Pendekatan yang digunakan disini antara lain menggunakan pendekatan ceramah dan pendekatan individu. Pendekatan ini mempermudah guru dalam menyampaikan materi pada peserta didik karena pendekatan pembelajaran ini mengarah pada pendekatan individual dimana peran guru cukup dominan dan guru memegang kendali kelas dengan memberikan perhatian kepada setiap peserta didik dan memahami satu per satu kebutuhan mereka. Strategi pembelajaran PAK yang diterapkan di SLB Suryawiyata Jakarta adalah strategi komunikasi efektif yang menekankan pada keefektifan guru dalam berkomunikasi dengan siswa. Dan beberapa metode pembelajaran PAK yang diterapkan di SLB Suryawiyata Jakarta untuk anak autis antara lain Metode Karya Wisata, dan Metode Visual. Teknik yang digunakan guru PAK di SLB Suryawiyata Jakarta adalah bervariasi mengikuti keadaan peserta didik. Sedangkan beberapa media yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran tersebut antara lain poster, bernyanyi, dan puzzle./ Hotnida Sitompul. Master Program in Christian Religious Education (P.PdK) postgraduate program Christian University of Indonesia in Jakarta, 2016 This thesis discusses the teaching model of Christian religious education for children with autism spectrum in SLB Suryawiyata Jakarta. Study is motivated by the psychological state of children with autism are different from normal children in general. The study is intended to answer the question: PAK learning model for autistic children in SLB Suryawiyata in East Jakarta. The data is obtained by means of a structured interview, observation and documentation. All data were analyzed by qualitative approach and descriptive analysis. This study shows that: PAK learning model for autistic children in SLB Suryawiyata Jakarta on classroom learning includes approaches, strategies, methods, techniques, media. The approach used here include using the approach of lectures and individual approach. This approach makes teachers easier to present the materials on the learners because this learning approach leads to an individualized approach where the teacher's role is dominant and teachers control the classroom to give attention to individual learners and understand their individual needs. PAK learning strategies applied in SLB Suryawiyata Jakarta is an effective communication strategy that emphasizes on teacher effectiveness in communicating with students. And some PAK learning methods applied in the special school for autistic children Suryawiyata Jakarta are Study Tour Method, and Visual Method. The technique used in Suryawiyata Jakarta is varied to follow the state of the learners. Some of the media used in the study include posters, sing, and puzzles
