Abstract

Hubungan Internasional adalah cabang ilmu dengan mencakup politik, ekonomi, hukum, dan sosial budaya. Dan dari segi ekonomi termasuk industri pariwisata. Pemerintah Republik Indonesia telah mengeluarkan kebijakan keimigrasian terbaru melalui Peraturan Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 21 Tahun 2016 mengenai fasilitas bebas visa bagi warga asing yang akan mengunjungi Indonesia dengan tujuan tertentu. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui proses penerapan kebijakan bebas visa pemerintah Indonesia terhadap wisatawan asing yang masuk ke wilayah Indonesia khususnya Provinsi Sulawesi Utara pada tahun 2016-2021. Dan hasil yang didapat yaitu, pelaksanaan kebijakan ini berjalan dengan sesuai dari arahan pemerintah pusat dan membawa pengaruh yang baik bagi Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif analisis digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini. Sumber pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah primer dan sekunder./ International Relations is a branch of science International Relations is a branch of science that includes politics, economics, law, and socio-culture. The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has issued the latest immigration policy through Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2016 concerning visa-free facilities for foreigners who will visit Indonesia for certain purposes. This study aims to determine the process of implementing the Indonesian government's visa-free policy for foreign tourists entering the territory of Indonesia, especially North Sulawesi Province in 2016-2021. And the results obtained are, the implementation of this policy is running according to the direction of the central government and has a good influence on the Province of North Sulawesi. Qualitative research methods with descriptive analysis type research used by researchers in this study. Sources of data collection in this study are primary and secondary.
