Abstract

Gedung Universitas Terbuka, Palu merupakan bangunan yang telah runtuh akibat gempa Palu 28 September 2018. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisa penyebab keruntuhan menggunakan respon spektra dan time history dan dievaluasi. Hasil evaluasi ini akan dijadikan pertimbangan untuk membuat perkuatan dengan dinding geser atau bresing baja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa beban gempa yang terjadi pada gempa Palu 28 September 2018 tidak lebih besar dari respon spektrum bangunan. Keruntuhan diakibatkan karena kolom yang runtuh lebih dulu dibandingkan balok. Efek penambahan dinding geser dapat meningkatkan massa, mengurangi displacement, mengurangi drift, dan meningkatkan base shear. Efek penambahan bresing baja dapat meningkatkan massa, mengurangi displacement, mengurangi drift, dan meningkatkan base shear. Kata Kunci : Respon Spektra, Time History, Kolom kuat balok lemah, gempa Palu, perkuatan, dinding geser, bresing baja./ Universitas Terbuka, Palu is a building that had collapsed due to the Palu earthquake of 28 September 2018. Therefore it is necessary to analyze the cause of the collapse using the response spectra and time history and be evaluated. The results of this evaluation will be considered to retrofit with shear walls or steel bracing. The results of this study indicate that the earthquake load that occurred in the Palu 28 September 2018 earthquake was'nt greater than the spectrum response of the building. The collapse are caused by the collapsing column earlier than the beam the addition of shear walls can effect to increase mass, reduce displacement, reduce drift, and increase base shear. The addition of steel bracing can effect to increase mass, reduce displacement, reduce drift, and increase base shear.
