Abstract

Yerma Yerni Timang. Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dan Pelatihan Guru Terhadap Kinerja Mengajar Guru di SMPN 1 Tondon Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Tesis Pascasarjana Program Studi Administrasi/ Manajemen Pendidikan Universitas Kristen Indonesia, 2021. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan pelatihan guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru di SMP Negeri 1 Tondon Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk memperoleh gambaran kinerja mengajar guru, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan pelatihan guru di SMPN 1 Tondon Kabupaten Toraja Utara; (2) menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja mengajar guru di SMPN 1 Tondon Kabupaten Toraja Utara; (3) pengaruh pelatihan guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru di SMPN 1 Tondon kabupaten Toraja Utara; dan (4) pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan pelatihan guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru di SMPN 1 Tondon Kabupaten Toraja Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian asosiatif hubungan kausal. Sampel diperoleh dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh (sensus) karena jumlah sampel yang diteliti jumlahnya kecil, yaitu 30 orang guru. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data penelitian adalah teknik uji coba terpakai. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa (1) gambaran skor rata-rata kinerja mengajar guru sebesar 3,90 telah berada pada kategori tinggi, skor rata-rata kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebesar 3,74 telah berada di kategori tinggi dan skor rata-rata pelatihan guru sebesar 3,54 berada pada kategori tinggi. (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja mengajar guru di SMPN 1 Tondon kabupaten Toraja Utara sesuai dengan hasil signifikansi lebih kecil dari nilai taraf signifikan yaitu 0,000 < 0,050. Besarnya pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja mengajar guru sebesar 87,0%. (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pelatihan guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru di SMPN 1 Tondon Kabupaten Toraja Utara, sesuai dengan hasil nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari nilai taraf signifikan yaitu 0,000<0,050. Besarnya pengaruh pelatihan guru terhadap kinerja mengajar guru sebesar 85,0%. (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan pelatihan guru secara simultan terhadap kinerja mengajar guru di SMPN 1 Tondon kabupaten Toraja Utara, sesuai dengan hasil nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari nilai taraf signifikan yaitu 0,000<0,050. Besarnya pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan pelatihan guru secara simultan terhadap kinerja mengajar guru sebesar 92,2%. The problems discussed in this study were the effect of principal leadership and teacher training on teacher teaching performance at SMPN 1 (or SMP Negeri or State Junior High School 1) Tondon, North Toraja Disctrict, North Toraja Regency. This study aims (1) to obtain a description of teacher teaching performance, principal leadership, and teacher training at SMPN 1 Tondon North Toraja Disctrict; (2) to analyze the influence of the principal's leadership on the teaching performance of teachers at SMPN 1 Tondon North Toraja Disctrict; (3) the effect of teacher training on teacher teaching performance at SMPN 1 Tondon North Toraja Disctrict; and (4) the influence of principal leadership and teacher training on teacher teaching performance at SMPN 1 Tondon North Toraja Disctrict. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with an associative research approach to causal relationships. Samples were obtained using saturated sampling (census) because the number of samples studied was small, namely 30 teachers. The research data were obtained through a research instrumen in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The technique used in the research data collection is the used trial technique. The results of this study concluded that (1) the description of the average score of teacher teaching performance of 3.90 was in the high category, the average score of principal leadership of 3.74 was in the high category and the average score of teacher training was 3.54 is in the high category. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of principal leadership on the teaching performance of teachers at SMPN 1 Tondon North Toraja Disctrict in accordance with the significance result which is smaller than the significant level value, namely 0.000 <0.050. The magnitude of the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher teaching performance is 87.0%. (2) There is a positive and significant effect of teacher training on the teaching performance of teachers at SMPN 1 Tondon North Toraja Disctrict, according to the results of the significance value which is smaller than the significant level of 0.000 <0.050. The magnitude of the influence of teacher training on teacher teaching performance is 85.0%. (3) There is a positive and significant effect of principal leadership and teacher training simultaneously on the teaching performance of teachers at SMPN 1 Tondon Kabupaten Toraja Utara, according to the results of the significance value is smaller than the significant level of 0.000 <0.050. The magnitude of the influence of principal leadership and teacher training simultaneously on teacher teaching performance is 92.2%.
