Abstract

Triani Adapari Marcella, Hubungan Manajemen Kelas dan Kecerdasan Emosional Pendidik Terhadap Peningkatan Minat Mengajar Di Yayasan Pendidikan Saint Peter Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara Program Pascasarjana Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta, 2020 Peningkatan minat mengajar akan berdampak pada minat belajar peserta didik.Tujuan penelitian ini menguji hubungan manajemen kelas dan kecerdasan emosional pendidik terhadap peningkatan minat mengajar. Dipilih acak 75 sampel dari 79 pendidik di Saint Peter menggunakan metode Hair yaitu jumlah indikator x 5. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner sebanyak 20 pernyataan dari 5 indikator tiap variabel. Teknik analisis datanya kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan korelasi sederhana dan berganda. Hasil hipotesis pertama, terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan manajemen kelas dengan minat mengajar, koefidien korelasi ry1 = 0,824, model regresi Ŷ = 8,202 + 0.824 X1, thitung 15,354 > ttabel 1,666, koefisien determinasi (R2) = 0,764. Hipotesis kedua, terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan kecerdasan emosional pendidik dengan minat mengajar, koefisien korelasi ry2 = 0,443, model regresi Ŷ = 31,691 + 0.443 X2, thitung 6,434 > ttabel 1,666, koefisien determinasi (R2) = 0,362. Hipotesis ketiga, terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan manajemen kelas dan kecerdasan emosional pendidik terhadap minat mengajar, koefisien korelasi ry 1,2 = 0,823, model regresi Ŷ = 6,817 + 0,758X1 + 0,086 X2, Fhitung 122,082 > Ftabel 3,124. Dengan demikian manajemen kelas dan kecerdasan emosional pendidik berpengaruh kuat terhadap peningkatan minat mengajar sebesar 76,6%, sisanya 23,4% dipengaruhi variabel lain di luar penelitian. Second hypothesis shows positive and significant relationship educators’ emotional intelligence and teaching interest, correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.443, regression model Ŷ = 31.691 + 0.443 X2, tcount 6.434 > ttable = 1.666, coefficient determination (R2) = 0.362. Third hypothesis shows positive and significant relationship classroom management and educators' emotional intelligence on teaching interest, correlation coefficient ry1.2 = 0.823, regression model Ŷ = 6.817 + 0.758X1 + 0.086 X2, Fcount 122.082 > Ftable = 3.124. Thus, classroom management and educators’ emotional intelligence have strong influence increasing interest in teaching by 76.6%, remaining 23.4% influenced by other variables outside research.
