Abstract

Mayoritas pasien diabetes di Rumah Sakit UKI berusia 51-60 tahun (43,8%), pasien diabetes berjenis kelamin laki-laki (52,5%), pasien diabetes di Rumah Sakit UKI menjalani pengobatan dengan kombinasi 3 jenis obat (73,8%) Pasien diabetes yang mengalami obesitas dan tidak obesitas berjumlah sama banyak./ Diabetes melitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder where the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, resulting in an increase in glucose concentration in the blood or hyperglycemia. The types of DM that commonly occur are type 1 DM, type 2 DM, and gestational DM. To know the prevalence of age and gender as well as the description of DM treatment in diabetic foot ulcer patients at UKI Hospital. This research uses observational analytic with cross sectional design which means this research aims to investigate the relationship between variables. Cross sectional means that all data in this study were taken in the same period of time. This design was chosen because the design is the most superior compared to other research designs in terms of determining the prevalence of a disease. The results of this study showed that the majority of patients were aged 51-60 years (43.8%). The results of the cross tabulation showed that in any age group, the majority of patients did not undergo lower extremity amputation. The results of the analysis showed that there was no relationship between age and lower extremity amputation (p = 0.627). Gender analysis, showed that the majority of patients were male (52.5%). The results of cross tabulation showed that in any gender the majority of patients did not undergo lower extremity amputation which showed that there was no relationship between gender and lower extremity amputation (p = 0.136). Analysis of this treatment showed that the majority (73.8%) underwent treatment with a combination of 3 drugs which showed that in any type of treatment, the majority of patients did not undergo lower extremity amputation. The results of the analysis showed that there was no relationship between the treatment regimen and lower extremity amputation (p = 0.115). The results of this study indicate that the number of obese and non-obese patients is the same. The results of the cross tabulation showed that regardless of obesity status, the majority of patients did not undergo lower extremity amputation. The results of the analysis showed that there was no relationship between obesity and lower extremity amputation (p = 0.395). The majority of diabetic patients at UKI Hospital are aged 51-60 years (43.8%), male diabetic patients (52.5%), diabetic patients at UKI Hospital undergo treatment with a combination of 3 types of drugs (73.8%). %) Diabetic patients who are obese and not obese are the same number.
