Abstract

Dengan adanya peningkatan populasi kendaraan dengan motor bakar akan memberikan dampak pada meningkatnya polusi dan konsumsi dari bahan bakar minyak , oleh karena itu harus ada inovasi atau penelitian yang dapat mereduksi kadar gas buang yang berbahaya serta peningkatan unjuk kerja dari mesin kendaraan itu sendiri.. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, obyek penelitian adalah mobil Motor Roda 3 Merk Powerace 200cc. Penelitian ini menggunakan bahan bakara pertalite, Dengan variable putaran mesin 1500 rpm sampai 4500 Penelitian ini menggunakan pipa gas buang berbahan logam non ferro ( tembaga dan aluminium) dan penambahan komponen AIS. Teknik yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif yaitu mendeskripsikan data numerik yang diperoleh dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan, lalu dijelaskan ke dalam laporan menggunakan Bahasa yang mudah dipahami. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan perancangan konstruksi pipa gas buang, Rata – rata gas CO terendah didapatkan pada tipe uji 3 yaitu sebesar 0.017 %, untuk gas CO2 paling baik di yaitu sebesar 7.3 % yang menandakan pembakaran lebih sempurna, untuk gas HC nilai rata – rata terendah yaitu sebesar 53.7 ppm, dan gas NOx terbaik yang dihasikan sebesar 50,7 ppm, sedangkan untuk pengguaan bahan bakar paling rendah di dapatkan dari tipe uji 3 dengan nilai SFC 0.36 g/kW.h pada putaran 1500 dan 26,28 g/kW.h yang didapatkan pada putaran 4500 rpm menandakan bahwa mesin lebih efektif. Nilai torsi memberikan dampak terhadap emis gas buang dimana nilai CO dan HC pada tipe uji 2 berbanding lurus dengan nilai torsi di putaran 4000 – 4500 dengan kenaikan 0,46 % dan 21 ppm./ With an increase in the population of vehicles with motorized fuel, it will have an impact on increasing pollution and consumption of fuel oil, therefore there must be innovations or research that can reduce harmful exhaust gas levels and increase performance. from the vehicle engine itself . This research is an experimental research, the object of this research is a 200cc Powerace 3-wheeled motorbike. This study uses pertalite as fuel, with a variable engine speed of 1500 rpm to 4500. This study uses exhaust gas pipes made of non-ferrous metals (copper and aluminum) and the addition of AIS components. The technique used is descriptive analysis, which describes the numerical data obtained from the tests that have been carried out, then explained in a report using language that is easy to understand. Based on the results of research and design of exhaust gas pipe construction, the lowest average CO gas was obtained in type 3, which was 0.017%, for CO2 gas, the best was 7.3%, which indicates a more complete combustion, for HC gas the lowest average value which is 53.7 ppm, and the best NOx gas produced is 50.7 ppm, while for fuel use the lowest is obtained from test type 3 with an SFC value of 0.36 g/kW.h at 1500 and 26.28 g/ kW. h obtained at 4500 rpm rotation indicates that the engine is more effective. The torque value has an impact on exhaust gas emissions where the CO and HC values in type 2 test are directly proportional to the torque value in the 4000 - 4500 rotation which has an increase of 0.46% and 21 ppm.
