Abstract

Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang rancang bangun sebuah sistem filter pasif pada lampu LHE dan LED dengan menggunakan software Simulink MATLAB. Jenis lampu ini merupakan jenis beban yang bersifat non linier yang menghasilkan harmonisa. Dalam perancangan dilakukan perhitungan-perhitungan untuk mendapatkan kapasitas filter pasif yang akan dipasang pada LHE dan LED. Untuk mengetahui kapasitas atau besar komponen dalam pemasangan filter pasif ini, dilakukan penelitian berupa pengukuran daya, faktor daya, tegangan, arus, THDi dan THDv yang dihasilkan oleh LHE dan LED dan hasil pengukuran tersebut, disimulasikan kedalam software Simulink MATLAB dengan tujuan untuk menentukan rancang bangun filter pasif yang mereduksi nilai THD pada LHE dan LED. Objek penelitian yaitu LHE dan LED, dapat ditemukan di pasaran dan digunakan secara luas seperti perkantoran, rumah tangga dan sebagainya. Untuk mereduksi tingkat harmonisa arus, dirancang filter pasif single tuned LC pada LHE dan LED . Filter tersebut, dirancang untuk bekerja pada frekuensi 50 Hz dan yang di tuning pada orde ke tiga saja diharapkan dapat mereduksi tingkat harmonisa sehingga THD yang dihasilkan oleh LHE dan LED memenuhi standar IEEE 519-2014. Hasil simulasi perancangan filter pasif single tuned LC dapat mereduksi THDi sebesar 90.88% dari THDi awal sebesar 91.99% sehingga menjadi 1.11%./ This final project discusses the design of a passive filter system for LHE and LED lamps using Simulink MATLAB software. This type of lamp is a non-linear load that produces harmonics. In the design, calculations are carried out to obtain the capacity of the passive filter to be installed on the LHE and LED. To determine the capacity or size of the components in the installation of this passive filter, research was carried out in the form of measuring power, power factor, voltage, current, THDi and THDv produced by the LHE and LED and the results of these measurements were simulated into the Simulink MATLAB software with the aim of determining design a passive filter that reduces the THD value on the LHE and LED. The research object, namely LHE and LED, can be found on the market and used widely such as offices, households and so on. To reduce the level of current harmonics, a single tuned LC passive filter is designed for the LHE and LED. The filter is designed to work at a frequency of 50 Hz and is only set to the third order, which is expected to reduce the level of harmonics so that the THD produced by the LHE and LED meets the IEEE 519-2014 standard. The results of the design of a single tuned LC passive filter can reduce THDi by 90.88% from the initial THDi of 91.99% so that it becomes 1.11%.
