Abstract
ABSTRACT: Tendon is an anatomical structure which functions is to connect muscle to bone, and plays an important role in human movement and its structure determines its function and also the quality of motion resulting from its action. Massive repetitive movements with an emphasis on a particular area of joint more likely to caused injuries to the tendons and might produce lesions to the joint, as is often found in sportsmen. The aim of this review is to criticize the spectrum of tendon lesion according to its causative agent and surgical treatment is often required to guarantee a primary healing and to restore its function. The research method is reviewing literature about both techniques best practice and comparing it. The conclusion shows that both techniques have their own positive but also negative point of view in the context of healing. Keyword: lesion, trauma, surgical, healing
