Abstract

Kebutuhan akan energi saat ini semkain meningkat dengan kegiatan manusia yang banyak menggunakan energi terutama energi listrik. Sehingga perlu tindakan penghematan energi seperti penerangan dengan menggunakan perangkat elektronik yang hemat energi. Teknologi penerangan terbaru yang digunakan adalah lampu hemat energi (LHE) dan light emitting diode(LED) yang dirancang sebagai pengganti penggunaan lampu pijar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membandingkan antar lampu berdasarkan besar daya, fluks cahaya, suhu warna dan Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) serta menganalisis pemilihan lampu dalam rangka penghematan energi. Pemilihan jenis penerangan dalam rangka penghematan energi, dilihat dari besar daya dan tingkat fluks cahaya jenis LED dipilih karena tingkat lumen yang yang dihasilkan dua kali dari LHE. Sedangkan jika dilihat dari THD arus yang tidak memenuhi standar IEEE 519-2014, jenis penerangan LHE dipilih karena memiliki THD arus lebih kecil 4% - 7,3% dari LED. Untuk faktor daya yang dihasilkan LHE dan LED bersifat kapasitif karena menghasilkan faktor daya sbesar 0,5 - 0,6. So it is necessary to take energy saving measures such as lighting by using energy efficient electronic devices. The latest lighting technology used is energy-saving lamps (LHE) and light emitting diodes (LED) which are designed to replace incandescent lamps. The purpose of this study was to compare lamps based on power, luminous flux, color temperature and Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and analyze lamp selection in order to save energy. The choice of lighting type in order to save energy, seen from the amount of power and the level of light flux, the LED type was chosen because the lumen level produced is twice that of the LHE. Meanwhile, when viewed from the current THD that does not meet the IEEE 519-2014 standard, the type of LHE lighting is chosen because it has a current THD of 4% - 7.3% smaller than LED. The power factor produced by LHE and LED is capacitive because it produces a power factor of 0.5 - 0.6.
