Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas lulusan yang diharapkan (ekspektasi) oleh lulusan, kualitas lulusan yang dirasakan (persepsi) pengguna lulusan, dan kepuasan pengguna lulusan yang dilihat dari kesenjangan kualitas lulusan persepsi dengan kualitas lulusan ekspektasi STIP Jakarta program studi Nautika, dan gambaran lingkungan persaingan pada perguruan tinggi dibidang pelayaran. .Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan riset survey. Jumlah sampel penelitian terdiri dari 52 responden dari lulusan dan 11 responden dari pengguna lulusan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran Jakarta program studi Nautika. Intrumen terdiri dari 24 item yang mengukur 11 dimensi yang sudah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel dengan uji menggunakan expert judgement yang terdiri dari 2 orang expert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengguna lulusan belum merasa puas dengan kualitas lulusan STIP Jakarta program studi Nautika. Ketidakpuasan dengan tiga peringkat tertinggi terdapat pada dimensi Bahasa Inggris, Teknologi Informasi, dan Komunikasi. Atribut kemampuan lulusan menggunakan bahasa Inggris dalam bentuk verbal maenjadi atribut ketidakpuasan tertinggi dengan angka -0,69. STIP Jakarta program studi Nautika sudah memenuhi keunggulan kompetitif atas lima kekuatan menurut Porter. Dengan saran kepada lulusan dan pihak STIP Jakarta program studi Nautika untuk memperbaik aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris, terutama pada kemampuan Bahasa Inggris dalam bentuk verbal. Kata kunci: Kualitas, Lulusan, Kepuasan, Pengguna./ ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the quality of graduates expected (expectations) by graduates, the perceived quality of graduates (perceptions) of graduate users, and satisfaction of graduate users as seen from the gap in the quality of graduate perceptions with the quality of graduates expectations of the STIP Jakarta Nautika study program, and a description of the competitive environment in universities in the shipping sector. This research is a descriptive research with survey research. The number of research samples was 52 respondents from graduates and 11 respondents from users of graduates of the Jakarta School of Shipping and Nautics study program. The instrument consists of 24 items measuring 11 dimensions that have been declared valid and reliable by testing using an expert judgment consisting of 2 experts. The results showed that the graduate users were not satisfied with the quality of the STIP Jakarta graduates from the Nautika study program. Dissatisfaction with the three highest ratings is in the dimensions of English, Information Technology, and Communication. The attribute of the ability of graduates to use English in the verbal form is the highest attribute of dissatisfaction with the number -0.69. According to Porter, the STIP Jakarta Nautical study program has met a competitive advantage over the five strengths. With suggestions to graduates and the STIP Jakarta Nautics study program to improve aspects related to English language skills, especially in verbal English.
