Abstract

Salah satu bagian terpenting untuk menunjang kehidupan makhluk hidup ialah air. Sebagian masyarakat Indonesia menggunakan air minum yang berasal dari Air Minum Dalam Kemasan (AMDK) dan air minum isi ulang dari Depot Air Minum Isi Ulang (DAMIU). Terdapat perbedaan signifikan dari pengolahan kedua jenis air ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan profil dan jumlah mikrobiota pada air minum kemasan merk A dengan air minum isi ulang di Kota Depok tahun 2021, yaitu dengan cara menanam kedua sampel air dan melakukan uji biokimia untuk mengidentifikasi bakteri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapatnya kolonisasi bakteri pada sampel AMDK, sementara pada sampel air DAMIU terdapat kolonisasi bakteri Gram negatif yaitu Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Kata kunci: Air minum kemasan, Air minum isi ulang, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Coliform./ One of the most important thing to support the life of all living things is water. Some of Indonesian use drinking water derived from Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) and refillable drinking water from the Reffilable Drinking Water Depot (DAMIU). There are significant differences between the preparation of these two types of water. The purpose of this research is to compare the profile and amount of microbiota from bottled water in brand A with refillable drinking water in Depok in 2021 by planting both water samples and conducting biochemical test to identify the bacteria. The results showed the absence of bacterial colonization in AMDK samples, while in DAMIU water samples showed colonization of Gram negative bacteria namely Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
