Abstract

Di era sekarang yang semakin maju, banyak hal yang telah berkembang baik secara teknologi, ekonomi, maupun masyarakat. Dengan berkembangnya lingkungan masyarakat, tidak luput juga dengan berkembang pula tindak pidana yang ada di lingkungan sekitar masyarakat. Terlebih tindakan kekerasan atau pelecehan seksual yang sekarang masih menjadi masalah yang masih sering terjadi, Metode pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah penelitian hukum normatif.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaku pedofilia harus diberikan hukuman yang setimpal untuk perbuatannya. Hal ini harus dilakukan agar menimbulkan efek jera, dan agar memberikan peringatan agar dapat meminimalis kejadian serupa tidak terulangi kembali.
