Abstract

The existence of humans as social beings is something commonplace because basically everyone is different. Differences with one another in terms of race, ethnicity, culture, and religion should enrich civilization, but what actually happens is the division of humanity. Disputes and conflicts on multicultural aspects often occur. Whereas the existence of humans as social beings, with all the diversity that meant to be a wealth of humanity to be proud of. With the complexity of this diversity, it is necessary to understand and support each other in living a safe, peaceful, and prosperous life. Humans cannot deny the diversity that exists in their lives because basically nothing is the same; all have differences and of course, the difference in question is uniqueness as a gift from God. In multicultural studies, the role of Christian education is very important, and even wider space needs to be given to implementing the principles of humanity to reduce conflict due to the existence of multiculturalism in society. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method in which efforts to describe the strengthening of the role of Christian education in a multicultural society are clearly stated.
