Abstract
This paper presents the idea on curriculum material. It focuses on several issues related to curriculum material such as: designing learning objective, learning objective, learning output, selecting the learning material, deciding or checking the content and sequencing of a course, designing the syllabus; definition of syllabus, the approach on developing syllabus, kind of syllabus; structural syllabus, lexical syllabus, notional syllabus, functional syllabus, structural-functional syllabus, structure-functional syllabus, fully communicative syllabus, proportional syllabus, topic base syllabus and taskbase syllabus in which the explanation these topics done by investigating the theories from different recourse.
