Abstract

Pengaruh Model Discovery Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa di Era Covid-19. Marta Tamaulina Siahaan, 2021, Pendidikan Biologi, FKIP-UKI Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Mengetahui disimilaritas hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi khususnya materi perubahan lingkungan antara model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh hasil belajar kognitif dengan model discovery learning. (3) Menemukan perbedaan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen, dan menggunakan desain penelitian control group design dengan desain penelitian dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok yang diberi pretest dan posttest pada siswa kelas X SMAN 57 Semester II T.P 2020/2021. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas dengan jumlah sampel 64 orang yang ditentukan dengan cluster random sampling pada kelas kontrol X MIPA II sebanyak 32 orang siswa menggunakan metode konvensional dan kelas X MIPA III sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model-pembelajaran-discovery-learning-sebanyak-32-orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar kognitif pretest dan post test di masing masing kelas. Berdasarkan analisis data dan uji hipotesis yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa : (1) hasil belajar kognitif siswa mengalami peningkatan pada kelas ekspeirmen yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model discovery learning dibandingkan dengan siswa pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional dengan rata-rata nilai post-test eksperimental 76,4844 berbanding dengan nilai post-test control sebanyak 67,0312. (2) Hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang menggunakan model discovery learning memiliki perbedaan nyata yang signifikan. Kunci : Model pembelajaran, discovery learning, hasil belajar kognitif/ The Influence of the Discovery Learning Model on Learning Outcomes Student Cognitive in the Covid-19 Era Marta Tamaulina Siahaan, 2021, Pendidikan Biologi, FKIP-UKI The aimed of this study as follows: (1) To find out the dissimilarity of students' cognitive learning outcomes in biology subjects, especially environmental change materials between the Discovery Learning learning model and the conventional learning model. (2) To know the effect of cognitive learning outcomes with the discovery learning model. (3) To find differences in learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class. The type of research used quasi-experimental, and used a control group design research design with the research design divided into two groups who were given a pretest and posttest to the X grade students of SMAN 57 Semester II T.P 2020/2021. The research sample consisted of two classes with a total sample of 64 people who were determined by cluster random sampling in the control class X MIPA II as many as 32 students using conventional methods and class X MIPA III as an experimental class using 32 persons for learning-discovery-learning model. The research instruments in this research were pretest and posttest cognitive learning outcomes tests in each class. Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing, it was obtained that: (1) students' cognitive learning outcomes increased in the experimental class that was taught using the discovery learning model compared to students in the control class using the conventional learning model with an average post-test score of 76. ,4844 compared to the post-test control score of 67,0312. (2) Cognitive learning outcomes of students who used the discovery learning model have significant real differences. Key: learning model, discovery learning, cognitive learning outcomes
