Abstract

This study aims to find out the management of learning facilities of performing arts in Middle Year Program Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School Jakarta. This research was conducted in March 2018, with qualitative descriptive research method that contains the description of the management of learning facilities in the field of performing arts studies from observations, interviews and related documents. The results of this research indicate that the management of learning facilities is very important because with management of learning facilities, education will be maintained and have a clear benefits. In the management of the school should be responsible for the facilities and infrastructure, especially the Principal or Field Coordinator who directly handle the learning facilities. The school should also be able to maintain and pay attention to existing school facilities and infrastructure. So with the facilities and infrastructure in the school students can learn with maximum and efficient possible. The management of facilities and infrastructure should be more emphasized again in educational institutions such as schools and there must be those responsible for the management of these facilities and infrastructure. With the good management of facilities and infrastructure in school principals can plan and record which facilities and infrastructure should be used in the school. If all the steps of management have been going well as expected then it will have a positive impact on the students in the learning process and the achievement of educational goals effectively and efficiently. So the providers of education be it the government, principals, teachers, other school personnel and society should continue to strive to improve the quality of education in accordance with the demands of the era. Keywords : Management; Learning Facilities, School Management/Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengelolaan sarana pembelajaran seni pertunjukan di Middle Year Program atau setara Sekolah Menengah Pertama Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School Jakarta pada bulan Maret 2018, dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang berisi penjabaran tentang pengelolaan sarana pembelajaran di bidang studi seni pertunjukan dari hasil pengamatan, wawancara, dan dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sarana pembelajaran sangat penting karena dengan adanya pengelolaan sarana pembelajaran, pendidikan akan terpelihara dan jelas kegunaanya. Dalam pengelolaan pihak sekolah harus dapat bertanggung jawab terhadap sarana dan prasarana terutama Kepala Sekolah atau Koordinator bidang yang langsung menangani sarana pembelajaran tersebut. Pihak sekolah pun harus dapat memelihara dan memperhatikan sarana dan prasarana sekolah yang sudah ada. Maka dengan adanya sarana dan prasarana di sekolah siswa dapat belajar dengan maksimal dan seefesien mungkin.Jadi pengelolaan terhadap sarana dan prasarana harus lebih ditekankan lagi dalam lembaga pendidikan seperti sekolah dan harus ada yang bertanggung jawab atas pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana tersebut.Dengan pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana yang ada di sekolah kepala sekolah dapat merencanakan dan mendata apa saja sarana dan prasarana yang harus digunakan di sekolah tersebut. Jika semua langkah-langkah pengelolaan telah berjalan dengan baik seperti yang diharapkan maka akan berdampak positif terhadap siswa-siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar dan tercapainya tujuan pendidikan secara efektif dan efisien. Maka penyelenggara pendidikan baik itu pemerintah, kepala sekolah, guru, personel sekolah yang lainnya maupun masyarakat perlu terus berusaha untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sesuai dengan tuntutan kebutuhan zaman.
