Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim kerja guru dengan kinerja guru, baik secara sendiri–sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 3 Lolomatua Kabupaten Nias Selatan dengan menggunakan metode lapangan (field research) melalui metode survey dengan pendekatan korelasional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 orang guru dari 48 orang guru. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah teknik simple random sampling sedangkan teknik yang digunakan dalam melakukan analisis data yakni statistic deskriptif, korelasi dan regresi ganda. Hasil pengolahan data dengan korelasi diperoleh besarnya hubungan kepemimpinan dengan kinerja guru sebesar 0,839 sedangkan iklim kerja guru dengan kinerja guru nilai korelasi yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 0,854. Hal ini menunjukkan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim kerja guru dengan kinerja guru memiliki hubungan linear yang menunjukkan korelasi ada dan sangat kuat. Kemudian dari perhitungan regresi ganda diperoleh persamaan regresi linier adalah Ŷ = -0,028+ 0,468x1+ 0,539x2. Dengan demikian hipotesis nol ditolak yang menunjukkan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan iklim kerja guru mempunyai hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kinerja guru. Hubungan antara ke dua variabel adalah linier (hubungan berbentuk garis lurus). Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, iklim kerja guru, kinerja guru/This study aims to determine the relationship between principal leadership and teacher work climate with teacher performance, either individually or jointly. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Lolomatua District of South Nias by using field method through survey method with correlational approach. The number of samples in this study were 30 teachers from 48 teachers. The technique used in sampling is a simple random sampling technique where as in performing the analysis of technique data are used descriptive statistics, correlation and multiple regression. Results of data management with correlation obtained the level of leadership relationship with teacher performance of 0.839 while teacher work climate with teacher performance correlation value obtained that is equal to 0.854. This suggests that the relationship between principal leadership and teacher work climate with teacher performance is positive, and the relationship between the two variables is strong. Then from the calculation of multiple regression obtained linear regression equation is Ŷ = -0,028 + 0,468x1 + 0,539x2. Thus the null hypothesis is rejected that indicates the principal's leadership and teacher work climate has a positive and significant relationship with the teacher's performance.
