Abstract
Penyakit diare masih merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia, karena morbiditas dan mortalitasnya yang masih tinggi. Meningkatnya prevalensi penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak rasional pada anak merupakan salah satu penyebab timbulnya resistensi, toksisitas dan efek samping yang meningkat, serta biaya pengobatan yang meningkat. Beberapa penelitian membuktikan kejadian terapi antibiotik yang tidak rasional di berbagai tempat pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rasionalitas antibiotik pada pasien diare akut balita (0-5 tahun) di RSU UKI dan RSKD Duren Sawit periode Januari 2015-2017 yang disesuaikan dengan guidelines WHO. Data diperoleh dari rekam medik menggunakan metode retrospektif. Terdapat 106 kasus dari 343 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, dengan rentang usia rata-rata 13-24 bulan (43,4%) . Data dikelompokkan berdasarkan tepat diagnosis, tepat pasien, tepat indikasi, dan tepat obat, kemudian disesuaikan dengan guidelines menurut WHO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terapi antibiotik pada pasien diare akut balita (0-5 tahun) di RSU UKI dan RSUD Duren Sawit tidak rasional. Kata kunci : diare akut balita, rasionalitas, antibiotik/Diarrhea disease is still a public health problem in developing countries like Indonesia, because of its high morbidity and mortality. The increasing prevalence of irrational antibiotic use in children is one of the causes of increased resistance, toxicity and side effects, as well as increased medical costs. Several studies have proven to be an irrational antibiotic therapy in various public health services. The aim of this research is to know the rationality of antibiotic therapy in patients with acute diarrhea (0-5 years old) in RSU UKI and RSKD Duren Sawit during January 2015-2017 which is adjusted with WHO guideline. Data were obtained through medical records using retrospective There were 106 cases of 343 corresponding the inclusion criteria, with an average age range of 13-24 months (43.4%). The data are grouped according to right diagnosis, patients, indication, and drug, then adjusted according to WHO guidelines.
