Abstract

Digitization in the world of education is reform and modernization of the global education world, where digitization means all kinds of information are transformed into digital languages. Learning Management System (LMS) is a learning medium that uses an opensource that has been designed by the education unit as needed. Covid-19 pandemic has invited that digitization in the world of education is a necessity to follow education online. Building an LMS is already an urgent need for universities including Universitas Kristen Indonesia. By building and organizing its own LMS, Universitas Kristen Indonesia can have quality LMS can be upgraded to Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) or massive open online courses for thousands of students through several digital-based platforms in improving access to learning materials. One of the facilities and infrastructure that is needed today and has a high weight of value in apt 3.0 and APS 4.0 activities is the availability of adequate communication and information technology systems called Higher Education Management Information System (SIMPT). One important part of having a high-value weight is whether a college has a Learning Management System (LMS) or not. In the process of field assessment online today the assessors will easily be able to view and assess the availability of SIMPT of a college through the available LMS. Thus, digitization in the implementation of education can be realized, with the hope of impacting the accreditation of superior universities. Keyword : Digitization, MOOC, Accreditation
