Abstract

Every year, especially during the dry season, West Kalimantan is always covered as soon as possible due to fire or forest and land fires. Since 2015, the West Kalimantan Provincial Government has been driven by participation in problems and controlling land fires. Forest and land fires and cross-border hazards are very complex problems for each country. Direct impacts of forest fires include economic and social losses. Forest fire disturbances are more visible from human behavior and from natural conditions. To deal with forest and land fires and cross-border fog pollution, the government oversees the implementation of land clearing, especially compilation for the dry season, forest and land development can be prevented. This research method is qualitative descriptive analysis and literature study and researchers also conducted several interviews. The results of research between regencies, provinces, countries and internationally are where each element is important in reducing the number of haze that occurs in West Kalimantan. Efforts to prevent forest and land fires from various agricultural activities are carried out in a controlled manner and apply local regulations and community rules. In reducing fires that are more assertive towards the body and increasing the number of companies entering the area to clear land without burning. The government continues to work together to formulate fire articles in the dry season.
