Abstract

The National Examination (UN) is an assessment to determine whether the formulation of educational objectives translated into the curriculum can be achieved or not. Because the exam is intended to help students improve and develop their learning. National exams are more appropriate if complementary with the School Exams. According to the regulation of the Minister of National Education Number 153 of 2003 the aim of the National Examination is to measure the achievement of student learning outcomes through the provision of tests in elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools. Research Objective: To assess the impact of standardization of National Examination scores for students, To assess the ideal determinant of graduation for students, To review the evaluation of policy on the National Examination. The research method used by researchers is library research, where researchers identify discourses from books, papers, articles, journals, web (internet), or other information related to the title of the research journal, namely the National Examination as a determinant of graduation harming students.
