Abstract

The behavioral neuroscience basis for teacher to be able to always supply empowerment, meaningfulness, agility, and sustainability to his/her students is rooted in how the human brain regulates stress, drives intrinsic motivation via the dopaminergic reward pathways, and utilizes prefrontal cortex neuroplasticity to adapt, prevent burnout, and foster resilient learning environments. This review aims to analyze the neuropsychiatric explanation of how teachers thrive and drive student success when their practice integrates empowerment, meaningfulness, agility, and sustainability. These four pillars transform teaching from a routine task into a vital, adaptive, and long-lasting profession that transform student. Teachers thrive and drive student success when their practice integrates empowerment, meaningfulness, agility, and sustainability. These four pillars transform teaching from a routine task into a vital, adaptive, and long-lasting profession that supports both educator well-being and student growth. The behavioral neuroscience basis of teaching through empowerment, meaningfulness, agility, and sustainability relies on optimizing brain chemistry, neuroplasticity, and stress regulation to maximize learning. The neurobiopsychology basis of a great teacher rests on optimal prefrontal cortex function for emotional regulation and empathy, balanced neurotransmitters supporting enthusiasm and patience, and the capacity to induce neuroplasticity and co-regulate stress states in students' limbic systems.
