Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair yang berasal dari limbah ikan teri india (Stolephorus indicus) terhadap pertumbuhan pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) dan menentukan konsentrasi pupuk yang paling efektif. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan enam perlakuan dan empat ulangan, terdiri dari perlakuan tanpa pupuk, kontrol positif (NPK), dan pupuk organik cair konsentrasi 5%, 10%, 15%, dan 20%. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, dan berat basah. Data dianalisis menggunakan One Way ANOVA yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk organik cair limbah ikan teri jengki berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun dan berat basah. Konsentrasi pupuk 20% menghasilkan respon pertumbuhan terbaik dengan rata-rata tinggi tanaman 250,50 mm dan diameter batang 68,00 mm, serta tidak berbeda nyata dengan kontrol positif (NPK). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pupuk organik cair dari limbah ikan teri jengki berpotensi sebagai pupuk alternatif ramah lingkungan untuk mendukung pertumbuhan pakcoy./ This study aimed to analyze the effect of liquid organic fertilizer derived from Indian anchovy waste (Stolephorus indicus) on the growth of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) and to determine the most effective fertilizer concentration. The study employed an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design with six treatments and four replications, consisting of treatments without fertilizer, positive control (NPK), and liquid organic fertilizer with concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. The observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, and wet weight. Data were analyzed using One Way ANOVA followed by Duncan’s multiple range test. The results showed that liquid organic fertilizer derived from Indian anchovy waste significantly affected plant height and stem diameter, but did no significant effect on leaf number and wet weight. The 20% fertilizer concentration produced the best growth response with an average plant height of 250.50 mm and stem diameter of 68.00 mm, and was not significantly different from the positive control (NPK). These findings indicated that liquid organic fertilizer derived from Indian anchovy waste had the potential to serve an environmentally friendly alternative fertilizer to support the growth of pakcoy.
