Abstract

Peran orang tua dan gembala sidang sangat penting melibatkan pemuda dalam pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peran orang tua dan gembala sidang dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan pemuda pada pelayanan gereja di KGBI Bunga Mayang. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa peran orang tua menjadi teladan dapat dilakukan juga dengan mendampingi pemuda, peran gembala sidang dapat dilakukan dengan mentoring bagi pemuda, dan keterlibatan pemuda dalam pelayanan di gereja KGBI Bunga Mayang masih banyak yang tidak aktif dalam pelayanan karena adanya rasa malas sehingga membutuhkan adanya pola asuh dari orang tua yang tidak terlepas dari firman Tuhan. Kata kunci: Peran Orang Tua, Peran Gembala Sidang, Keterlibatan Pemuda dalam Pelayanan. / The role of parents and congregation shepherds is vital to increasing youth involvement in this research service in order to know the role of parents and congregation shepherds in increasing young men’s involvement in church service in KGBI Bunga Mayang. Research uses qualitative descriptive methods. Data collected using interview techniques. Studies have found that the role of parents as an example can also be accompanied by youth, the role of a congregation shepherd can be done with mentoring young men, and youth participation in services in the church of the KGBI Bunga Mayang, which is still largely inactive in the service because of idleness, requiring a parent’s upbringing which is not independent of the word of the Lord.
