Abstract
Penelitian ini menganalisis dampak yuridis dari penghapusan presidential threshold terhadap partai politik dalam pemilihan umum di Indonesia, dengan fokus pada Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) Nomor 62/PUU-XXII/2024. Putusan tersebut menyatakan bahwa ketentuan ambang batas pencalonan presiden dan wakil presiden bertentangan dengan Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945 dan tidak memiliki kekuatan hukum mengikat./This research analyzes the juridical impact of abolishing the presidential threshold on political parties in Indonesia's general elections, focusing on Constitutional Court Decision No.62/PUU-XXII/2024. The decision declared that the provision on the minimum percentage threshold for nominating presidential and vice-presidential candidates is unconstitutional and lacks binding legal force.
