Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sekolah terpadu yang mencakup jenjang Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK), Sekolah Dasar (SD), Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), dan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara, dengan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur perilaku. Pendekatan ini berfokus pada pengoptimalan lingkungan fisik sekolah untuk mendukung perilaku positif, interaksi sosial, dan proses belajar mengajar yang lebih efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara dengan pemangku kepentingan terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tata letak sekolah-sekolah di area tersebut saat ini belum terintegrasi dengan baik, sehingga menghambat kolaborasi antar siswa, guru, dan staf, serta kurang mendukung aktivitas belajar. Desain ini mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor psikologis dan sosial yang mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran, desain yang dirancang menekankan pada ruang-ruang yang terbuka, fleksibel, dan adaptif untuk memfasilitasi interaksi sosial, kolaborasi, dan pembelajaran aktif. Fitur-fitur utama meliputi: ruang kelas yang fleksibel, area komunal yang terpusat, jalur pejalan kaki yang aman, serta akses yang memadai antar jenjang sekolah untuk memudahkan transisi siswa. Dengan implementasi desain ini, diharapkan dapat tercipta lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan interaktif, yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, kinerja akademik, serta kesejahteraan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada perkembangan arsitektur pendidikan, khususnya dalam merancang lingkungan sekolah terpadu yang berbasis perilaku di kawasan perkotaan. Kata Kunci: Sekolah Terpadu, Arsitektur Perilaku, Perancangan Sekolah. / This study aims to design an integrated school encompassing Kindergarten, Elementary School, Junior High School, and Senior High School levels in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, using a behavioral architecture approach. This approach focuses on optimizing the physical school environment to support positive behavior, social interaction, and more effective teaching and learning processes. The research methodology includes literature studies, field observations, and interviews with relevant stakeholders. The findings reveal that the current layouts of schools in the area are not well-integrated, hindering collaboration among students, teachers, and staff, and inadequately supporting learning activities. The design considers psychological and social factors that influence the learning process, emphasizing open, flexible, and adaptive spaces to facilitate social interaction, collaboration, and active learning. Key features include flexible classrooms, centralized communal areas, safe pedestrian pathways, and adequate access between school levels to ease student transitions. The implementation of this design is expected to create a more inclusive and interactive learning environment, ultimately enhancing student engagement, academic performance, and overall well-being. This research contributes to the development of educational architecture, particularly in designing behavior-based integrated school environments in urban areas.
