Abstract

Seringkali bentuk bangunan yang tidak beraturan dilakukan karena kemajuan dalam inovasi struktur modern, seperti portal terbuka yang memiliki variasi dengan menambahkan tinggi kolom untuk keperluan area publik. Tetapi, ketahanan struktur terhadap beban lateral menjadi faktor krusial yang harus diperhatikan terutama di wilayah yang rawan gempa. Dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen simulasi komputer ETABS V.18.1 penelitian ini akan menganalisis perilaku struktur (displacement, simpangan antar lantai). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi model bangunan 2 dengan menambahkan ketinggian pada kolom bangunan tidak memenuhi batas izin untuk simpangan antar lantai, model bangunan 2 bahkan lebih rentan terhadap kegagalan soft story. Sebaliknya, model bangunan 3 yang menempatkan shear wall di lantai menunjukkan kinerja seismik yang jauh lebih aman, meningkatkan kekakuan lateral, dan berhasil mengontrol simpangan antar lantai di bawah batas izin. Kata kunci: Portal terbuka, Penambahan tinggi kolom, Penempatan shear wall / Due to advancements in current structural innovation, irregular building shapes are frequently employed. For example, open portals with changes by adding column height for public area uses are one example. But structural resistance to lateral loads is an important consideration, particularly in seismically active regions. This study will examine the structural behavior (displacement, inter-story deviation, and internal force) utilizing the ETABS V.18.1 computer simulation experiment method, the structural behavior (displacement, interstory deviation, and internal force) will be examined in this study. The findings demonstrate that both building models 1 (open portal) and 2 (addition of tall columns with decreased stiffness) fall short of SNI 1726:2019's story drift limit; building model 2 is even more vulnerable to soft story failure. Building model 3, on the other hand, which incorporates shear walls into the floors, exhibits far safer seismic performance, boosts lateral stiffness, and effectively reduces story drift below the permitted limit.
