Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi dalam bidang kosnstruksi semakin pesat, salah satunya dengan hadirnya Building Information Modeling (BIM). Penelitian ini membahas penerapan software Autodesk Revit sebagai bagian dari BIM dari upaya meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan volume material pada struktur bangunan. Studi kasus dilakukan pada proyek Apatemen Emerald Tower C, dengan membandingkan perhitungan volume material secara konvensional dan melalui BIM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi BIM memungkinkan pengurangan waktu kerja hingga 50% dari 40 hari dengan metode konvensional menjadi 20 hari menggunakan BIM. Selain itu, hasil perhitungan volume beton bertulang dengan BIM menunjukkan efisiensi yang signifikan. Pada pekerjaan kolom, volume beton menggunakan BIM lebih besar 5% tetapi berat tulagan lebih kecil 2% dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Pada pekerjaan balok, volume beton lebih kecil 1% tetapi berat tulangan lebih 3%. Sementara pada pekerjaan pelat, volume beton lebih kecil 3%, dan berat tulangan tidak menunjukkan selisih yang signifikan. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi BIM menghasilkan penghematan beton sebesar 1% dan berat tulangan sebesar 1% yang berdampak pada penghematan volume serta pengurangan pada pemborosan sumber daya. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adopsi teknologi BIM secara lebih luas di sektor konstruksi untuk meningkat efisien dan keberlanjutan proyek. Kata Kunci: konstruksi, volume material, Autodesk Revit, BIM / The development of technology in the field of construction is getting more rapid, one of which is the presence of Building Information Modeling (BIM). This study discusses the application of Autodesk Revit software as part of BIM from an effort to improve the efficiency of using material volume in building structures. A case study was carried out on the Apatemen Emerald Tower C project, by comparing the calculation of material volume conventionally and through BIM. The results show that the implementation of BIM allows for a reduction in working time of up to 50% from 40 days with conventional methods to 20 days using BIM. In addition, the results of the calculation of the volume of reinforced concrete with BIM show significant efficiency. In column work, the volume of concrete using BIM is 5% greater but the weight of the concrete is 2% less than that of the conventional method. In beam work, the volume of concrete is 1% smaller but the weight of reinforcement is 3% more. While in slab work, the volume of concrete is 3% smaller, and the weight of the reinforcement does not show a significant difference. Overall, the implementation of BIM resulted in a concrete saving of 1% and a rebar weight of 1% which had an impact on volume savings as well as a reduction in resource waste. The study recommends the wider adoption of BIM technology in the construction sector to improve the efficiency and sustainability of projects.
