Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh kurang optimalnya layanan informasi karier di sekolah. Kurangnya media dan metode penyampaian yang menarik membuat siswa belum memahami minat dan potensi dirinya secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh layanan informasi karier terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 139 Jakarta serta mengevaluasi sejauh mana layanan tersebut mampu meningkatkan semangat belajar mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif asosiatif dengan teknik purposive sampling yang melibatkan 100 siswa sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan informasi karier berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan nilai korelasi (R) sebesar 0,560 dan R Square sebesar 0,313, yang berarti layanan informasi karier berkontribusi sebesar 31,3% terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang menandakan hipotesis diterima. Dengan demikian, semakin baik pelaksanaan layanan informasi karier di sekolah, maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam meningkatkan efektivitas layanan informasi karier untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar peserta didik./This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of students, which is influenced by the suboptimal implementation of career information services at school. The lack of engaging media and delivery methods causes students to have limited understanding of their own interests and potential. This study aims to analyze the effect of career information services on the learning motivation of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 139 Jakarta and to evaluate the extent to which these services can enhance their learning enthusiasm. The research used a quantitative associative method with purposive sampling involving 100 students as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS software. The results showed that career information services have a positive and significant effect on students’ learning motivation, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.560 and an R Square value of 0.313, indicating that career information services contribute 31.3% to learning motivation. The significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 confirms that the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, the better the implementation of career information services at school, the higher the students’ learning motivation. This research is expected to serve as a reference for guidance and counseling teachers to improve the effectiveness of career information services in fostering students’ learning motivation.
