Abstract
Noldianto Marianus Lasterman, Pengaruh Peningkatan Mutu Pengajaran Melalui Pendidikan Budaya dan Pelatihan Bahasa Mandarin Di Sekolah Pah Tsung Jakarta, Tesis, Pascasarjana Program Studi Administrasi Pendidikan Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan budaya dan pelatihan bahasa Mandarin terhadap mutu pengajaran di Sekolah Pah Tsung Jakarta. Latar belakang studi ini didasarkan pada pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai budaya dan kemampuan bahasa asing dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era globalisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan regresi linear berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di Sekolah Pah Tsung dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 91 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, pendidikan budaya berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu pengajaran dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,577, nilai t hitung sebesar 7,696, dan signifikansi < 0,001. Demikian pula, pelatihan bahasa Mandarin memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,452, t hitung sebesar 8,825, dan signifikansi < 0,001. Secara simultan, kedua variabel bebas ini berpengaruh signifikan terhadap mutu pengajaran, yang ditunjukkan oleh uji F sebesar 78,739 dengan signifikansi < 0,001. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,642 menunjukkan bahwa 64,2% variasi mutu pengajaran dapat dijelaskan oleh kombinasi variabel pendidikan budaya dan pelatihan bahasa Mandarin. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa sinergi antara pendidikan budaya dan pelatihan bahasa memiliki kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan mutu guru. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memberikan landasan empiris bagi sekolah dalam menyusun kebijakan pelatihan guru yang integratif dan berbasis multikultural. This study aims to analyze the influence of cultural education and Mandarin language training on the quality of teaching in PAH Tsung School Jakarta. The background of this study is based on the importance of integrating cultural values and foreign language skills in improving the quality of learning in the era of globalization. The research method used is quantitative with multiple linear regression approach. The population in this study were all teachers at Pah Tsung school with a total of 91 respondents. The results showed that partially, cultural education has a positive and significant effect on the quality of teaching with the regression coefficient value of 0.577, the calculated t value of 7.696, and significance < 0.001. Similarly, Chinese language training had a significant positive effect with regression coefficients of 0.452, t count of 8.825, and significance of < 0.001. Simultaneously, these two independent variables significantly affect the quality of teaching, as shown by test F of 78.739 with significance < 0.001. Coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 0.642 indicates that 64.2% variation in teaching quality can be explained by a combination of variables of cultural education and Chinese language training. These results confirm that the synergy between cultural education and language training has a significant contribution to the development of teacher quality. The implications of this study provide an empi rical foundation for schools in developing integrative and multicultural-based teacher training policies.
