Abstract
Penelitian ini sebagai salah satu upaya menganalisis pembinaan spiritualitas dan pendidikan karakter serta implikasinya bagi pengembangan kurikulim Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Medan. Pembinaan spiritualitas dan pendidikan karakter di dalam Lembaga Pemasyarakatan berperan penting dalam proses rehabilitasi narapidana menuju kehidupan yang lebih bermakna. Pembinaan ini tidak hanya memberi dampak positif bagi perubahan pribadi narapidana, tetapi juga turut memperkuat ketahanan sosial masyarakat. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menerapkan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 7 orang, antara lain: narapidana Kristen Perempuan sebanyak lima orang, petugas pembinaan rohani Kristen di Lapas sebanyak satu orang, dan pelayan gereja mitra Lapas sebanyak satu orang. Dari hasil penelitian ini, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa pembinaan spiritualitas dan pendidikan karakter di Lapas Perempuan Kelas IIA Medan menjadi dasar penting bagi keimanan para narapidana di Lapas tersebut, serta cara mengintegrasikan karakter-karakter Kristen melalui khotbah, pendalaman Alkitab dan diskusi. Namun, Lapas perlu membuat susunan materi pembinaan spiritualitas dan Pendidikan karakter yang teratur dan terperinci agar tidak terjadi pengulangan materi berulang dalam sebulan, perlu menambahkan variasi-variasi yang menarik dan tidak membosankan, menetapkan aturan-aturan bagi tim pelayan terutama dalam hal waktu agar ontime dan hadir sesuai jadwal, jika berhalangan hadir dapat dicari penggganti. Kemudian perlu menambahkan waktu konseling pastoral, jika perlu memanggil psikolog atau psikiater (ahli professional) untuk membantu dan menangani narapidana yang bermasalah psikologis dan perilaku. Tidak jarang pembinaan spiritualitas dan Pendidikan karakter ini diikuti oleh narapidana dengan niat yang tidak murni untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan, melainkan karena adanya paket-paket yang dibawa oleh tim pelayan dan hanya mengisi absensi untuk syarat pengurusan remisi atau pembebasan bersyarat. Lapas perlu mendesain kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) sebagai panduan yang jelas dan terencana selama setahun. Di dalam kurikulum PAK perlu memuat, yaitu: tujuan apa yang ingin dicapai, isi (materi) yang akan diajarkan, strategi yang akan digunakan, dan evaluasi untuk mengetahui ketercapaian tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Kata Kunci: Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Perempuan, Pembinaan Spiritualitas, Pendidikan Karakter, Kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Kristen. / This research is an effort to analyze the development of spiritualitasity and character education and its implications for the development of Christian Religious Education curricula (PAK) in Class IIA Medan Correctional Institution. Spiritualitas development and character education in correctional institutions play an important role in the rehabilitation process of prisoners towards a more meaningful life. This development not only has a positive impact on the personal change of prisoners, but also helps strengthen the social resilience of the community. In this study, the author applied qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of 7 people, including: five female Christian prisoners, one Christian spiritualitas development officer at the prison, and one prison partner church minister. From the results of this study, the author concludes that spiritualitasity and character education in Medan Class IIA Women's Prison is an important basis for the faith of prisoners in the prison, as well as a way to integrate Christian characters through sermons, Bible studies and discussions. However, the prison needs to make an organized and detailed arrangement of spiritualitasity and character education materials so that there is no repetition of repeated material in a month, need to add variations that are interesting and not boring, set rules for the ministry team, especially in terms of time to be ontime and present according to schedule, if unable to attend, a replacement can be found. Then it is necessary to add pastoral counseling time, if necessary calling a psychologist or psychiatrist (professional expert) to help and handle prisoners with psychological and behavioral problems. It is not uncommon for spiritualitasity and character education to be followed by prisoners with an intention that is not purely to get closer to God, but because of the packages brought by the service team and only filling in attendance for the requirements for remission or parole. Prisons need to design a Christian Religious Education curriculum as a clear and planned guide for a year. The PAK curriculum needs to contain, namely: what objectives are to be achieved, the content (material) to be taught, the strategies to be used, and the evaluation to measure the effectiveness of the Christian Religious Education curriculum.
