Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi kelayakan handout terintegrasi komik digital sebagai media pembelajaran biologi pada materi kesehatan reproduksi manusia untuk siswa kelas XI di SMA 1 Cawang Baru. Handout ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa melalui kombinasi visualisasi yang menarik dan narasi interaktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan: analisis kebutuhan, perancangan produk, pengembangan, validasi oleh ahli, revisi produk, serta uji coba kepada siswa kelas XI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memperoleh kategori sangat valid berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dengan tingkat kelayakan 94% dari ahli materi, 93% dari ahli media, dan 92% dari ahli bahasa. Hasil uji coba kepada 39 siswa kelas XI SMA 1 Cawang Baru menunjukkan bahwa 87% siswa memberikan respons positif, menyatakan bahwa handout terintegrasi komik digital menarik, mudah dipahami, serta membantu mereka dalam memahami konsep kesehatan reproduksi manusia. Selain itu, peningkatan pemahaman siswa diukur melalui pre-test dan post-test, di mana rata-rata nilai pre-test siswa adalah 68, sedangkan nilai post-test meningkat menjadi 85, menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 17 poin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, handout terintegrasi komik digital terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi kesehatan reproduksi manusia./This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility of an integrated digital comic handout as a biology learning medium on the topic of human reproductive health for 11th-grade students at SMA 1 Cawang Baru. The handout is designed to enhance students' understanding through a combination of engaging visualizations and interactive narratives. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the following stages: needs analysis, product design, development, expert validation, product revision, and trials on 11th-grade students. The results show that the developed learning media received a "highly valid" category based on expert validation, with a feasibility level of 94% from material experts, 93% from media experts, and 92% from language experts. Trials involving 39 11th-grade students at SMA 1 Cawang Baru indicated that 87% of students provided positive feedback, stating that the integrated digital comic handout was engaging, easy to understand, and helped them comprehend human reproductive health concepts. Furthermore, students’ understanding improvement was measured through pre-tests and post-tests, where the average pre-test score was 68, while the post-test score increased to 85, indicating a 17-point improvement. Based on the research findings, the integrated digital comic handout is proven to be effective in enhancing students' understanding of human reproductive health.
