Abstract

Integritas akademik menjadi permasalahan di dunia akademik di seluruh dunia. Bahkan kampus Kristen yang seharusnya berbeda, juga menjadi tempat paktik pelanggaran integritas akademik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa hubungan antara variabel-variabel bebas (eksogen), yaitu: pendidikan Kristen, spiritualitas Kristen, budaya, efikasi, dan literasi informasi yang diduga berpengaruh terhadap variabel terikat(endogen), yaitu integritas akademik mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif struktural, yang berusaha menguji hubungan berbagai variabel laten eksogen yang diduga mempengaruhi integritas akademik. Pengujian dilakukan di tiga kampus Kristen, yaitu UPH, UKI dan UKRIDA, dengan menggunakan metode perolehan sampel, stratified random sampling, yang melibatkan 385 orang responden mahasiswa. Data primer didapatkan menggunakan survei online, dan dianalisis dengan tehnik SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SMART-PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semua hubungan langsung dari variabel eksogen terhadap endogennya signifikan. Pendidikan Kristen, selain sebagai variabel bebas juga terbukti signifikan memoderasi secara semu hubungan langsung budaya, spiritualitas, efikasi dan literasi terhadap integritas akademik. Sedangkan spiritualitas Kristen tidak terbukti signifikan memoderasi hubungan antara budaya, efikasi dan literasi informasi terhadap integritas akademik. Spiritualitas juga terbukti memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara pendidikan Kristen dan integritas akademik. Berdasarkan temuan ini, beberapa usulan penting adalah meninjau dan mengembangkan pola dan implementasi pendidikan Kristen di universitas Kristen agar dapat menjadi sistem terpadu dan memasukkan nilai-nilai integritas akademik, yaitu kejujuran, keadilan, tanggungjawab, kepercayaan, kehormatan dan keteguhan hati. Kata Kunci:Integritas akademik, pendidikan Kristen, spiritualitas Kristen/Academic integrity has become a critical issue in higher education worldwide. Even Christian universities—which are expected to be different—have become arenas where violations of academic integrity are found. This study aims to analyze the relationship between several exogenous (independent) variables—namely Christian education, Christian spirituality, culture, self-efficacy, and information literacy—and the endogenous (dependent) variable, which is students’ academic integrity. This research employs a quantitative structural associative method to examine the relationships among the latent exogenous variables that are hypothesized to influence academic integrity. The study was conducted at three Christian universities—UPH, UKI, and UKRIDA—using stratified random sampling, with a total of 385 student respondents. Primary data were collected through an online survey and analysed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with the assistance of the SMART-PLS software. The findings reveal that all direct relationships between the exogenous variables and the endogenous variable are statistically significant. Christian education, in addition to being an independent variable, also significantly moderates—albeit spuriously—the direct effects of culture, spirituality, self-efficacy, and information literacy on academic integrity. In contrast, Christian spirituality does not significantly moderate the relationships between culture, self-efficacy, and information literacy with academic integrity. However, spirituality is shown to partially mediate the relationship between Christian education and academic integrity. Based on these findings, several key recommendations are proposed, particularly the need to review and develop the design and implementation of Christian education in Christian universities so that it becomes an integrated system that incorporates the core values of academic integrity: honesty, fairness, responsibility, trustworthiness, respect, and perseverance.
