Abstract
Kinerja karyawan merupakan aspek krusial dalam pencapaian sasaran organisasi atau perusahaan. Keberhasilan perusahaan dalam mencapai target kerja optimal dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya penerapan program K3 dan kondisi lingkungan kerja fisik. Jika program K3 tidak dijalankan secara optimal, risiko kecelakaan kerja dapat meningkat. Begitu pula, lingkungan kerja yang tidak mendukung berpotensi menurunkan semangat dan produktivitas karyawan. Penelitian ini memakai metode kuantitatif untuk mengukur sejauh mana pengaruh K3 dan lingkungan kerja fisik terhadap kinerja karyawan di bagian produksi PT Wapoga Mutiara Industries Biak. Penelitian melibatkan 60 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel K3 (X1) berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan signifikansi 0,002 < 0,005. Demikian pula, variabel lingkungan kerja fisik (X2) memberikan pengaruh signifikan positif dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,005. Nilai Adjusted R² sebesar 25,0% mengindikasikan bahwa K3 dan lingkungan kerja fisik secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, sementara 75,0% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam studi ini. Berdasarkan temuan ini, perusahaan disarankan untuk memperkuat pelaksanaan program K3 serta memperbaiki kondisi lingkungan kerja fisik agar lebih aman, nyaman, dan meningkatkan kinerja seluruh karyawan. A company’s success in attaining optimal performance is influenced by various factors, including the implementation of the OHS program and the quality of the physical work environment. Failure to implement the OHS program effectively may increase the risk of workplace accidents. Similarly, an unsupportive physical work environment may lower employee morale and productivity. This study employed a quantitative approach to examine the influence of OHS and the physical work environment on employee performance in the production department of PT Wapoga Mutiara Industries Biak. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed with multiple linear regression. The analysis revealed that the OHS variable (X1) has a significant positive effect on employee performance, with a p-value of 0.002 < 0.005. Similarly, the physical work environment variable (X2) also shows a significant positive effect, with a p-value of 0.000 < 0.005. The Adjusted R² value of 25.0% indicates that OHS and the physical work environment jointly affect employee performance, whereas the remaining 75.0% is explained by other factors not included in this study. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the company strengthen the implementation of its OHS program and improve the physical work environment to ensure greater safety, comfort, and enhanced employee performance.
